Which peacock bride are you?

Good Morning Everyone! Earlier this week I blogged about what was going on in Event House. If you haven't had the chance to check it out, look at the post below.  We had the opportunity to create a customized invitation for a bride who's theme was PEACOCK! Peacock themed weddings have been HUGE this year! The fun part about having a peacock themed wedding is the endless creativity you can use with fun vibrant colors and beautiful feathers.  Below I created a Peacock themed inspiration board which shows great examples of the beauty of these weddings along with a unique EventHouse custom invitation.

Which peacock bride are you? Are you the majestic, vibrant, bold type of bride or are you the soft, vintage, whimsical bride? Let us know which bride you are, by posting your comment! Either way, these gorgeous colors can adjust to what you want. Enjoy :)

Sweet Shower Invitation Inspiration

Aren't these bridal shower invitations lovely?! I thought they were so cute, I decided to do an inspiration board featuring them.

This inspiration board is perfect for any summer time bridal (or baby) shower, it has hints of lemon, pink blush and lavender, it will definitely get the girls talking! Here are some pointers to throwing a fabulous summer time shower.

Always remember to give your guest a cute summer time favors. It is a sweet gesture to thank them for coming. In the inspiration above I thought the bumblebee candle was perfect because of the lemony color, isn't it precious?! For more cute ideas visit HERE!

Remember to refresh your guest with some lemonade or bottle water, especially in this Texas heat. Here is a yummy recipe, provided by Paula Dean:

Ingredients: 2 cups sugar, 1 cup hot water, 2 cups fresh lemon juice, 1 gallon cold water, 1 lemon, sliced. Mint springs, for garnish.

Directions: In a gallon container, place sugar and hot water and stir until sugar dissolves. Add lemon juice and cold water to render 1 gallon. Stire until well mixed.  Pour lemonade over glasses of ice, squeeze slice of lemon on top of each, and garnish with spring of mint.

Remember to have fun!

Inspiration: Something Blue

Here is to our first inspiration board.  It was inspired by Event House's own hand drawn table seating chart. These hand drawn seating charts can be personalized to your own style and theme.  A cute idea is to enlarge the seating chart and display it on an easel for your guests to find their seats at the reception.  I hope you enjoy these ideas as much as we did in creating it.
